Due to our merger with Delineo to form stm_grp we are now on the lookout for an experienced Account Manager with media buying and planning experience. The role will be based mainly from our offices in Rawtenstall, and we also have a flexible working policy.

The Role

The Account Manager is a client facing role with responsibility for delivering projects to meet strategy, creative, technical, budget, timeline and client objectives. You will have a critical role in the team, developing and evolving client relationships, running projects and offering support to other members of the team. You’ll also be responsible for delivering outstanding account service, planning, buying and reporting of cross-platform advertising campaigns.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Account Management in an agency environment
  • Project, resource and credit/budget management skills essential
  • Planning, communicating, negotiating, buying and implementing effective media strategies
  • Experience managing external suppliers and delivery teams to meet deadlines and campaign objectives ensuring POs are managed in line with campaign budget
  • Planning ROI driven media campaigns using industry tools and previous campaign data
  • Negotiating best value and rates with media owners
  • Contributing to and managing financial goals of key accounts
  • Project and resource management skills
  • Well organised with an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills and can adapt easily to new and unfamiliar software
  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt and solve problems
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
  • Independently manage personal workload
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Have a flexible attitude and approach when working with the team
  • Confident with liaising with clients independently and a natural flair for relationship building

Nice to haves

  • Marketing education or experience

  • Understanding of project management methodologies
