An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Full-Stack PHP Developer to join our growing digital team.

Based in our Lancashire digital hub, you will drop straight into our development team, supported by the Head of Development, working on a wide variety of client projects across the education, retail, and aviation industries; whether it’s a Headless WordPress site with a Vue.js frontend, or a bespoke Laravel application, there is a range of exciting projects in the pipeline.

You will need the ability to work both independently, and as part of a small team, being involved in various stages of the development life cycle, from configuring the website application, working on the API, to building and integrating the frontend.

Required skills

  • In-depth knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL
  • 3 years+ experience as a Full-Stack PHP developer
  • 1 year+ experience with Vue.js
  • Experience of WordPress theme development
  • Comfortable working with Figma designs or equivalent e.g. Adobe XD
  • Demonstrable knowledge of API’s

You’ll need to

  • Write clean and well-structured code
  • Be able to work both independently, and as part of a small team
  • Have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be willing to learn and experiment with new technologies

The following will help support your application

  • Experience working in an agency environment
  • Worked with Tailwind CSS or similar frameworks e.g. Bootstrap
  • Experience with Nuxt.js
  • Laravel experience
  • An understanding of Atomic Design Principles & Methodology
  • E-commerce experience
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, SES, S3)
  • Worked with GreenSock (GSAP) Animation Library
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Experience with automated testing
