HIP: Supporting growth with matches made in the Humber

The Humber Internships Programme brings together interns and SMEs across the region to boost business with emerging talent. A new initiative delivered by the University of Hull, they needed a brand building from the ground up. This included an overarching identity, guidelines, website and explanatory video, all of which had to appeal to a multifaceted audience of students, graduates, training providers and business leaders.

Creatively, the brand identity embodied the overall theme of connection – using graphic devices to represent each of the programme’s four key stakeholders. This icon was incorporated into the website, developed using a template approach and a CMS that allows HIP to edit pages as required. Other key features of the site also include the introductory video which we storyboarded, edited and recorded, along with a GDPR-compliant data capture form. With these initial elements in place, the next step will involve the production of a complete marketing toolkit – adapting assets for email marketing, paid advertising and new phases of the website.
