The purpose of the AES corporate video is to assist the sales team in promoting their dedicated research site services to potential life sciences customers. It needed to be 3-4 minutes long and showcase the amazing state-of-the-art facilities, processes, expertise and specialist equipment available within the network of dedicated research sites, all of which are Synexus branded. This video set in Poland is to be one in a series of videos for AES, documenting their various site service offerings across the world.
The Synexus Wroclaw site in Poland was chosen as it is one of the flagship sites in Europe. Once we knew which site we were working with we liaised with the Clinic Director and a local film production company to do a virtual site recce to help us visualise our storyboard.
Alongside this we produced the script and outline narrative. For the intro and outro we decided that this should be performed by a professional voiceover artist who would become the brand voice for AES. A voice that would be present on all future videos to help build brand recognition.
For authenticity we felt it was important that the middle section had a local accent and be narrated by the Territory Director, Clinic Director and a patient testimonial in Wroclaw. We did this by supplying them an outline narrative to help them form their answers during individual interviews to camera. We interspersed shots of them talking to camera with cutaway shots of the clinic. The Wroclaw clinic's state-of-the-art facilities made it the ideal backdrop for us to showcase the patient journey whilst focusing on key members of staff and specialist equipment.
