Creating inclusive applications

Inclusive design helps individuals with varying disabilities, access, view and understand content more effectively. We do this by following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and have a thorough understanding of how to design for every eventuality.

This includes optimising websites and mobile applications for visitors with:

  • impaired vision
  • motor difficulties
  • cognitive impairments or learning disabilities
  • deafness or impaired hearing

Accessibility is becoming more and more important within the education and public sector, as an increasing number of services are now solely operated through online channels. For this reason, new public sector website and apps must meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards (or its European equivalent, EN301 549) by 23 September 2019 and existing websites must meet the same standards by 23rd September 2020.

Please get in touch to discuss your accessibility needs and we will ensure that you meet the necessary standards before the deadline.
